A hot westerly wind has been blowing in Bihar for the last three-four days. Due to this, there is a continuous rise in the maximum temperature and people are feeling the heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert for Patna, Sheikhupura, Jamui, Bhojpur, Aurangabad, Banka, Nevada and Nalanda districts from April 21 to 24. For the first time a warning was issued regarding the heat wave in Patna.
