Dhanbad A case has come to light from Madhupur where one of the woman’s legs was cut off while being taken from her parents’ house, left behind and run away. The family admitted the injured woman to SNMMCH on Wednesday. Takima Khatoon, mother of the injured woman, said that her daughter was married to Sajid Shaikh, a resident of Deoghar, who worked as a decorator, a few years ago. After marriage, her son-in-law Sajid started harassing her daughter for dowry. Many times they compromised in the presence of the society to resolve the dispute.
Friday-Saturday night, Sajid met his Begum Zulekha from Madhupur.
