Karachi: Voting is going on in Pakistan under tight security. Various parts of Pakistan have been heated several times in the last few days before the voting period. There are also reports of bomb explosions. Imprisoned Imran Khan is said to have voted from jail by postal vote. Meanwhile, mobile phone services in Pakistan were disrupted for the election.

About 650,000 security personnel are deployed for the elections in Pakistan. More than 12 crore 85 lakh voters of the country will exercise their right to vote in the election. The Pakistani government has sealed its borders with Afghanistan and Iran for security reasons. Voting materials have been distributed to more than 90,000 polling stations under the supervision of polling officers.

The number of minority voters in Pakistan is 36 lakh. Where there are 18 lakh Hindu voters. Poll workers will count votes by hand at polling stations and results are expected late at night. 26 crore ballot papers have been printed here for the general elections. Voting has started in 336 constituencies of Pakistan. At the same time, voting is going on for the country’s 4 state assembly elections.
