Elon Musk’s social media platform These accounts have been banned for promoting child sexual abuse and nudity.

The company provided this information in the monthly report published in accordance with the Information Technology (IT) Rules 2021. According to the report, the company banned a total of 213,862 accounts between February 26 and March 25. These also include 1,235 accounts shut down by the microblogging platform for promoting terrorism in the country.

X settled 86 complaints between February 26 and March 25
X handled 86 complaints between February 26 and March 25, which were related to account suspension appeals. After reviewing 7 of these accounts, their suspension was lifted. The rest of the reported accounts will remain suspended according to the company’s decision.

Most of the complaints were received regarding infringement and sensitive content for adults.
In addition, X received a total of 5,158 complaints during the same period. Of the complaints received from India, the highest number of 3,074 complaints was about violation. After that, 953 complaints are related to sensitive content for adults, 412 complaints are related to hateful behavior and 359 complaints are related to abuse and harassment.
