GUWAHATI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination Result 2023 was declared on April 16 with Aditya Srivastava topping the list of 1016 successful candidates.

Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy have secured the second and third positions respectively, as revealed by the UPSC on their official website.
The UPSC 2023 Civil Services Prelims was held on May 28 last year, followed by the UPSC Mains exam held on September 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24, 2023.

Candidates who cleared the mains were invited to the round of interviews held between January 4th and April 9th.
Out of 1,016 recommended candidates, as many as 347 are from general category, 115 are from EWS category, 303 candidates are from OBC category and from SC and ST, the number of recommended candidates is 165 and 86 respectively.
Candidates scoring above the cut off marks will be recruited into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services and posts.
