In Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district, 10 bighas of wheat crops were burnt to ashes due to a fire caused by a short circuit. The chicken farm was also wiped out due to the fire. The villagers informed the fire department and the local police. The local police arrived at the scene and controlled the fire with the help of the villagers. Even after two hours had passed, the fire engine could not reach the scene. Because of this there was anger among the people.
A fire broke out due to a short circuit in Dubar Kalan village in Lalganj development block of Mirzapur district on Wednesday afternoon due to the fall of 11 thousand power wires. Due to the fire, 10 bighas of wheat crops were burnt to ashes. The poultry farm was also burnt to ashes due to the fire. The villagers informed the fire brigade, but the fire brigade could not reach the scene. The fire was brought under control with the help of the villagers.
2000 chickens were burned to ashes in the fire
Sahab Ali owns a poultry farm at Charki Gudiyava village in Lalganj. where there were 2000 chickens. The fire spread so quickly that there was no time to put it out. After receiving information from the villagers, the head of the outpost Ram Singh Patel reached the spot and tried to put out the fire along with the villagers. After two hours of hard work, the fire was somehow brought under control by the villagers. The villagers immediately informed the fire brigade about the fire, but even after two hours the fire brigade could not arrive. A loss worth lakhs was caused due to the fire. Because of the fire, 10 bighas of wheat, 2000 chickens, 5 quintals of chicken feed and all the belongings inside the poultry farm were burnt.
