The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced a decision regarding the postponement of the Senate elections on the issue of swearing in some seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The Electoral Commission has said in its decision that if the Speaker of the KP Assembly does not follow the court orders, he will be forced to postpone the Senate election to the extent of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Electoral Commission says that voting is everyone’s fundamental right, no voter can be deprived of the right to vote.
