The Basanti Durga Puja festival, which has been going on for 90 years in Purnia, is turning colorful. Mahanavami Puja was performed at the Ramakrishna Math located in Bhatta Bazaar on Wednesday, the fourth day of the 5-day Basanti Durga Puja festival. Keeping with the tradition since 1933, the Mahapuja started at 7 pm, which continued till 12 midnight.

The magnificent and divine appearance of maa was surrounded by the strong sound of duck and conch.
