Film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series – Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar will be released on Netflix on May 1. This period drama depicts the lives of courtesans and their struggle for freedom in Lahore’s red light district known as Hiramandi during the Indian independence movement against the British Raj.
