Islamabad (Newsdesk) Light rain has started in most areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Islamabad According to the weather forecast, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in most parts of the country.
In addition to partly cloudy weather in and around the federal capital Islamabad, there is a possibility of wind, gusty winds and thundershowers as well as cloudy weather in most of the upper areas of Punjab state, Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum., Chakwal, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore and Gujranwala are also expected to rain at some places with thunderstorms also likely to occur in central Punjab and southern areas.
The weather will remain dry and hot in most parts of Balochistan and Sindh, and it will be cloudy today in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Bannu, Kohat, Khyber, Bajaur, Chitral, Swat, Dir , Kohistan, Wind, gusty winds and thunder expected in most areas including Peshawar.
According to the Meteorological Department, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are also expected to be partly cloudy, with strong winds and thundershowers at some places.
