The people of Chhattisgarh and the police have been insulted. naxals who shed the blood of innocent people of Chhattisgarh are called martyrs. They posted that we do not agree with you to come to this holy land.

What did Shrinate say?

Shrinate on Wednesday courted controversy by condoning the 29 Naxals killed in a BSF encounter in Kanker, Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Shrinate called the Naxals martyrs and demanded a thorough investigation into the encounter.

Criticism of the BJP

Commenting on Shrinate’s statement, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawala said that this was expected from the Congress. 29 naxalites were killed by the security personnel which is really a big achievement. He said that instead of welcoming the security forces, the Congress has demanded action against them.
