Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): President Draupadi Murmu visited Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir for the first time and offered prayers. Murmu performed aarti to Ramlalla with great devotion and bowed down with a long stick. The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, was in Murmu’s company at this time. President Murmu also offered prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya.
