The five-day Shree Shree 108 Maharudra Yagya and Shiv Nandi Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav began with a grand Kalshayatra on Thursday at Baswariya Basti of Khanudih Panchayat. In the Kalshayatra, 251 women arrived with musical instruments and placing the urn on their foreheads at the river Ghat Jamunia in Mahadevgarh through Bhelwatand, Ghorathi, Mahultand, Khario, Pandey Tola, Tilaiya, Gopalpur. Hundreds of devotees participated in the yatra. Here Yagyacharya Ramesh Pandey was chanting Vedic mantras and performing the ritual of filling water in the Kalash. After this, all the devotees returned to the Yagya Mandap on the same route. During the Kalshayatra, the entire atmosphere became devotional due to the sky-high religious cheering. Sherbet water was distributed among the devotees at Mahadevgarh by social worker Raju Sharma. Amarnath Mandal, Tinku Rajak, Lakhan Napit, Manik Mandal, Rakhohari Mandal, Sanjeet Kumar, Dharmendra Rajak, Rohit Rajak, Raju Mahato, Bablu Thakur, Manoj Thakur, Binod Rajak, Anand Mahato, Deepak Thakur etc. are active in organizing the Mahayagya.
