Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly invested a whopping INR 2 billion in his upcoming film which will see his daughter Suhana Khan making her big screen debut.
Khan last appeared on the big screen in Danki and will be seen opposite his daughter Suhana Khan in one of the highest budget films ‘The King’ in 2025.
The film, which is currently in pre-production, is intended to be an action film that exceeds all expectations, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama.
The report revealed that Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand have joined hands to produce the action flick with a whopping budget of INR 2 billion.
The film’s creative team has reportedly been working over the past year on pre-production planning and focusing on developing a script and action sequences.

Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, “King is an ambitious action film, unlike anyone’s imagination. The team has been working on pre-production for the last year to ensure that all aspects are covered in the right way – from the script, to the scale and action. Red Chillies Entertainment has always delivered world-class products And King will be no different as the announcement goes ahead to ensure a big debut for Suhana Khan.”
Meanwhile, the source familiar with the matter revealed that the makers are in talks with world-renowned stunt coordinators from the West to join the ‘King’ team.
“Sidharth Anand is thinking internationally, and with SRK, he wants to make a global action thriller. He is designing stunts with the stunt experts from the West, and plans to shoot it as a hybrid of real action and VFX enhancements,” added the source.
Filming is scheduled to begin in May and last over five months. The makers plan to premiere “King” in the second half of 2025.
While Shah Rukh was last seen in Danki, Suhana Khan will make her big screen debut with the release of ‘King’.
She made her debut last year with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies released on OTT.
