The court has sentenced Neeraj Ahirwar, who has been accused of molesting a minor in Sagar, to 3 years imprisonment and a rigorous fine. The case was heard in the court of Additional Third Sessions Judge and Special Judge (POCSO Act 2012) Neelam Shukla. The victim had complained to the media in charge of the prosecution at the police station on 17 August 2023. It was stated in the complaint that she was standing in front of the house at night on 16 August 2023. She was waiting for her mother to come from the market. Then accused Neeraj Ahirwar came near her and started molesting her by holding her hand. When the victim screamed, the accused fled the scene.
