Heeramandi actor Richa Chadha took a dig at co-star Sharmeen Segal, who is also director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece.
Soon after its release on Netflix, Heeramandi was widely praised for its acting and grand set.
During a recent interview where the show’s stars discussed working on the project, Sharmin Segal revealed that she is an excellent cook, an Indian media outlet reported.
Richa Chadha expressed her surprise at the claim when Segal came back saying that she is a really good cook and Chadha’s salad in the morning was prepared by her.
“I’m a very good cook. I make proper Christmas lunches,” Segal said as Richa laughed, “I don’t think you and I should be sitting next to each other.”

It is worth mentioning that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had earlier come under fire for stepping aside Richa Chadha to make way for Sharmeen Segal during Heeramandi’s premier.
Bollywood stars like Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala and Sanjeeda Shaikh showed off their acting skills on the Netflix show.
However, Segal, who played Almazeb in the series, was attacked by fans who claimed she was given the role in Hiramandi because of nepotism.
After some left hateful comments on her Instagram, she disabled comments on one post where she is seen posing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Furious fans flooded her comments section with negative responses after the actor shared a photo from a magazine shoot.
