National Highway 313 between Honli and Anini in Dibang Valley has been damaged due to landslides in Arunachal Pradesh. We will tell you that due to continuous heavy rains, a landslide occurred on this road in the mountainous district. Because of this, traffic on the national highway was disrupted and Dibang Valley was cut off from the district headquarters. This highway connects Ruing to Anini in the Dibang Valley, located about 83 km from the Indo-China border.
The work to repair the road continues
An official says that the work to repair the road is on a war footing and the district administration is constantly reviewing the situation. Officials announced that due to the landslide that happened on Wednesday night, the road between Honli and Anini of the Dibang Valley was damaged, as a result of which the border district was cut off.
It will take a few days to start traffic
Additional Deputy District Commissioner Dravioti Bora says it may take several days for traffic to resume on the road. He also said that the road can be opened for light vehicles until Thursday evening. The district administration advised people to exercise caution and avoid driving until the repair work is completed.
