The ACB team arrested the Panchayat servant from the quarter located at the block site. After the arrest, the ACB team took the Panchayat servant with them. It is said that under the 15th Fiscal, repair work of Daadi well has been done at a cost of Rs 60 thousand under scheme number 25/2023-24 at Gothgaon of Chatakpur Panchayat. In which Rs 15 thousand was paid as first installment and Rs 21 thousand was paid as second installment. He was asked to pay the remaining Rs 24,000 by Panchayat servant Aneshwar Prasad. On which the Panchayat servant demanded a bribe of Rs 4000. After this the beneficiary informed the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Palamu ACB. After checking the matter, a case was registered. After this, the ACB team arrested him red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 4000. Here, due to the action of the ACB team, panic was saved in the block and the area.
