LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has ordered to hear the petition of Pakistan Stability Party leader Aun Chaudhary against his victory in NA-128.
Lahore High Court Judge Justice Faisal Zaman Khan heard the objection on the application of independent candidate Salman Akram Raja from NA-128.
The position of the petitioner was that we have approached the Election Commission against the victory of Aun Chaudhary from constituency NA 128. The Election Commission said that you should file an application in the Election Tribunal Not used.
In the petition, the court was asked to annul the decision of the Election Commission and give orders to stop the notification of the success of Aun Chaudhary from Constituency NA-128.
Salman’s lawyer Akram Raja told the court that Justice Ali Baqir Najafi had previously heard similar applications, so this application should also be sent to Justice Ali Baqir Najafi.
Opposition to the application was expressed by the Office of the Registrar of the Lahore High Court, today the court overruled the objection of the Office of the Registrar and ordered the application to be scheduled for hearing.
Justice Faisal Zaman Khan ordered the registrar’s office to send the application to Justice Ali Baqir’s court and said that Justice Ali Baqir Najafi had heard a similar application before.
