Islamabad: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faiz Isa says that any kind of interference in the judiciary will not be tolerated. A full court meeting was presided over, and a statement was issued.
According to the publication, the Chief Justice of Pakistan received the letter on March 26, on the seriousness of the matter, he called a meeting of the Chief Justice and 6 judges of Islamabad on the same day. The Chief Justice invited all the judges to his residence and asked all the judges individually. In the meeting, it was proposed to form an inquiry commission, led by a distinguished retired judge, and the inquiry commission should investigate the matter.
The Prime Minister assured that a federal cabinet meeting will be called to approve the formation of the commission The statement also said that the full meeting of the court had considered the issues raised in the letter from judges 6. The Chief Justice said that the Intervention of the Executive Committee in which the judicial functions of judges will not be tolerated, interference by the executive in the judiciary as an institution will not be tolerated at all, the independence of the judiciary cannot be compromised under any circumstances.
