10 people and 150 animals have died due to unseasonal rains since April 9 in Maharashtra’s Marathwada region. The Ministry of State Revenue provided this information. The Marathwada region consists of eight districts, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, Parbhani, Latur, Nanded, Dharashiv and Hingoli.

According to the report released by the state revenue department, unseasonal rains in Marathwada region since April 9 have caused damage to human and animal lives. Due to this unseasonal rain, crops on more than 5,256.86 hectares of 9127 farmers have been damaged.

According to reports, 10 people have died so far due to unseasonal rains, while many have also been injured. Of these, a maximum of three deaths were recorded in Bid, while two deaths each were recorded in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani and Latur. At the same time, 152 animals died, including 17 milk animals.
