New Delhi, Leading News Service: The census which was supposed to be held in 2021 during the Modi government has not been held yet. Because Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to end the issue. The Congress party has made such a claim. The Congress government had conducted the census in 2011. The Congress has demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP clarify their position on the caste census.

In a press conference held at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, Media General Secretary Jairam Ramesh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to end doubts, which is why the 2021 census has not been conducted in the country yet. Also citing some reports, Jairam Ramesh claimed that the BJP would be wiped out in the Lok Sabha elections. He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to mislead the people. After the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections and the predictions before the second phase, there will be a big drop in the BJP’s performance. There is a lot of resentment against the Modi government. Jairam Ramesh also said.

According to Reserve Bank data, households in the country have taken loans worth Rs 1 lakh crore from banks by mortgaging their gold till March 31, 2024. This information is only between banks. It does not include loans from the unorganized sector and moneylenders. If you compare the loan figures from each sector, you will notice that one in four families in the country has taken a loan against gold in the last 10 years and the Prime Minister is talking about Mangalsutra. Jairam Ramesh also said.

Speaking on inheritance tax, Jairam Ramesh said that there is no mention of inheritance tax in the Congress manifesto. It is not even in the Congress agenda. It was Rajiv Gandhi who abolished inheritance tax in 1985. On the contrary, Arun Jaitley, Jayant Sinha supported inheritance tax during 2014-19. Today PM Modi blames Congress. Prime Minister Narendra Modi says Congress’s Nyaya Patra is about redistribution of wealth. Jairam Ramesh directly challenged the Congress to show a single word in his justice paper, which comments on redistribution of wealth.
