Achi news desk-Bhaskar News|Campaign work regarding general elections in Saharsa will end in the district today at 5 PM. Voting will begin at 7 a.m. on May 7. The administrative preparations for the smooth conduct of the voting process in all the four assembly constituencies of the district have been completed. Separate centers were established to dispatch personnel. The third training will be given to the deputies of the polling stations today at the dispatch centers designated for assembly. A total of 1391 polling stations were set up for voting in the four assembly areas of the district, in which there is one auxiliary polling station. In these centers, voting will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in 60 polling stations of Simri assembly district in Hatyarpur and 107 polling stations of Mahishi community district, while in other polling stations voting will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. A total of 1360525 voters in the district will exercise their franchise. Among these voters, a total of 1007385 voters from Sunwarsha, Saharsa and Mahishi assembly constituencies will vote in the Madhepura Lok Sabha constituency. In Madhepura Lok Sabha constituency, 320914 voters of Sunwarsha Assembly Constituency, 377883 voters of Saharsa Assembly Constituency and 308588 voters of Mahishi Assembly Constituency will vote. 353140 voters from Simri Bakhtiarpur constituency will vote in Khagaria Lok Sabha constituency.
