Calcutta: The central government launches a new portal to report suspicious calls and messages The name is ‘eyes’. Suspicious calls, messages or scams can be reported on this portal within 30 days. It is part of the central government’s Sanchar Sathi initiative, developed by the Department of Telecom.
The Center works to prevent cyber fraud. Currently in case of cyber crime or financial fraud helpline number 1930 or official website
Reports can be made at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in. An eyeport has been added to this.
Meanwhile, the government has launched a Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP) to coordinate among various stakeholders such as banks, legal entities and financial intermediaries to prevent misuse by telecommunications companies.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently posted on the X platform about the benefits of eye portal. He wrote, ‘Indian citizens can file a complaint on the eye portal if they are cheated through a call, SMS or WhatsApp. As soon as the complaint is received, it will be investigated. Apart from this, users can report complaints related to bank account, payment wallet, SIM card here.
The investigation will start as soon as the complaint is submitted on the official website of the eye portal. Government officials will take the necessary measures. Thousands of people have been saved from cyber fraud in the last 9 months. Around 1,008 bank accounts linked to fraudulent transactions have been closed.
If you are harassed by repeated calls from unknown mobile numbers, then the user can complain on the eye portal. A complaint can also be made if the mobile phone is lost or stolen. A mobile number can also be blocked from here.

Users can file a complaint on Chakshu Portal even if they want to take action against fraudulent calls from international numbers. Even if the internet service provider does not provide proper service, complaints can be made here. It can even check whether the service is being provided properly or not is checked from the eye portal.
