New Delhi. OTT star Shefali Shah and filmmaker Vipul Amritlal Shah have been married for over two decades and have two sons, Aryaman and Maurya. This was Shafali’s second marriage to Vipul Amritlal Shah. Shefali Shah married actor Harsh Chhaya in the year 1994, but after 6 years, cracks started appearing in the relationship of this couple and by the year 2000, both of them were divorced. After almost 24 years of divorce, the actor has broken his silence on his divorce. He said that this was not easy at all for him.
Shefali Shah and Harsh Chhaya are known for their excellent acting. Shefali and Harsh got married in 1994, but after 6 years, cracks started appearing in their relationship that it was difficult to live together. The bitterness in their relationship had increased so much that even after the divorce, both of them tried their best to ignore each other and even today they do not speak.
‘My divorce from Shefali Shah is a closed chapter’
Today both are happy in their respective lives, but the time of divorce was not easy. Recently, the actor spoke about this in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan. He said that Shafali and I were working together in ‘Hasratein’. This thing has gotten old. He further said that my divorce from Shefali Shah is a closed chapter.
Harsh-Shefali are not friends
Harsh Chhaya further said that this is such an old story. So much time has passed. This is an old story now. 20-25 years have passed. He further said that we are not friends. But I don’t mind talking to him, so if we bump into each other, I won’t be uncomfortable.
‘Our divorce didn’t happen suddenly’
Speaking about her divorce, she said it was painful. Our divorce did not happen suddenly. 8 months before the divorce, I started to realize that there were some problems. I noticed a lot. The actor said that I see him in two ways, namely love and marriage, but in our relationship the two parts were not separated. Because neither love nor marriage survived.
‘Divorce broke me’
Harsh Chhaya admitted that he was very upset during the days of the divorce. He said any divorce is painful. He said I didn’t feel like working. Divorce had broken me. He said it took me 6 months to come out of this difficult period.
