Guwahati: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is reportedly scheduled to reach Silchar, Assam on Wednesday afternoon to lead an election rally.

She will reportedly campaign for Radheshyam Biswas, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate from Karimganj. Banerjee is expected to address the public at the Town Club ground around 12 noon before returning to Kolkata.

Assam TMC president Ripon Bora said while talking to the media earlier today, “She will reach the Kombirgram airport around 12:00 noon and reach Silchar on the way. A huge motorcycle rally has been organized to welcome Mamata Didi from the airport in which thousands of TMC workers will participate.
According to reports, she is on her way to the designated town club where TMC party members and workers along with the public have gathered for a meeting.
