A case has been registered against a woman and her son for beating two children by tying them to a tree in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. In this Thane district case, Vinayak Gaikwad, senior police officer and superintendent of Shanti Nagar police station, said a case has been registered against the mother and son under the Indian Penal Code and the Juvenile Justice Act. The accused tied two children, 10 and 12 years old, to a tree near a temple in the Tamgar area, according to him. The children are accused of causing damage to the car. The children were seriously injured and hospitalized. The accused have not yet been arrested.
Carriages worth of gold seized from the airport; Eight people were arrested in 14 cases
Over 9.4 kg of gold worth Rs 5.71 crore was seized at Mumbai airport. 8 people were arrested in 14 cases. Those which took place between Monday and Thursday.The accused tried to bring gold to India by hiding it in places like anus,hanging bag.This action was taken by Mumbai Customs-III.
