Rae Bareilly (May 04): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has filed his nomination papers from Rae Bareilly Lok Sabha constituency on Friday. In the affidavit given to the Election Commission, Rahul Gandhi has mentioned how much property he has and where it has been invested. In the affidavit, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has stated that he has assets of more than Rs 20 crore.

According to the details of assets and liabilities given along with Rahul Gandhi’s nomination paper, the Congress leader owns immovable properties worth Rs 9 crore 24 lakh 59 thousand 264. This includes shares worth 3 crore 81 lakh 33 thousand 572, bank balance worth 26 lakh 25 thousand 157 and gold bonds worth 15 lakh 21 thousand 740. The former Congress president has informed that he has immovable property of current market value of 11 crore 15 lakh 2 thousand 598 rupees. This includes self-purchased property worth Rs 9 crore 4 lakh 89 thousand and inherited property worth Rs 2 crore 10 lakh 13 thousand 598.

Cash only Rs 55 thousand

Rahul Gandhi said that he has 55 thousand in cash and liability, which is 49 lakh 79 thousand 184 loans. In the last financial year (2022-23) its annual income was 1 crore 2 lakh 78 thousand 680 rupees. Rahul Gandhi holds an M.Phil degree from Trinity College, Cambridge University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College, Florida.

No car or any other vehicle

Rahul Gandhi said that he does not have any motor car or any other vehicle but he has Rs 49 lakh 79 thousand 184. The immovable property includes about 3.778 acres of agricultural land in village Sultanpur, Mehrauli, New Delhi, which’ n jointly owned by him and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Additionally, Signature Towers, Gurugram has 5,838 square feet of commercial apartments (office space).
