In the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah responded to the Modi wave. He said there is no Modi wave in Karnataka. CM Siddaramaiah further said that there is a wave in favor of the Congress government’s bail schemes. He claimed that his party would win 20 of the total 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Siddaramaiah spoke to the media after the vote. According to him, “There is no Modi wave in Karnataka. There is only a wave of guarantees here. The Congress is going to win about 20 seats because our government’s plans have reached the people without any middleman. Money is coming into people’s bank accounts every month. . . .” Let us tell you that voting took place on 14 seats in Karnataka on Friday.

Greetings of the people with the Congress: Siddrama

Siddramaiah expressed confidence that the public’s blessings are with the Congress. He said that last year also the people gave victory to the Congress in the assembly elections. Asked how many seats the Congress will win in the first phase of 14 seats, he said: “Right now, it’s impossible to say it clearly. It’s a secret vote, but we will win the majority of seats here.”

In response to a question, Siddaramaiah said, “We will win Mysore and Chamarajangarh seats. According to experts, Siddaramaiah’s seat is at stake here because victory in Mysore and Chamarajangarh is necessary.” Siddaramaiah said he has been working with Mallikarjun Kharj in Gulbarga and Bidar for the past two days. “We will win in both areas,” he said.

Aimed at Prime Minister Modi

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speeches, Siddaramaiah said that he (PM Modi) has become frustrated. The CM said, “The speech he delivered was not the speech of any Prime Minister. It is unconstitutional. I feel he has become desperate. He is afraid of losing.”

Siddaramaiah accused former Prime Minister and JDS leader HD Deve Gowda of doing opportunistic politics. Along with that, he also took a dig at the former prime minister for getting emotional during the election campaign. The Karnataka CM said, “The public knows that all this is not true, but all lies. If we get the blessings of the people, we will stay in politics. If we don’t get the blessings, we will not stay in politics. What is the point of shedding tears?
