Eight former Indian Navy personnel sentenced to death by Qatar have been released after efforts by India. Now Captain Saurabh and Shishtha, one of the eight released Indian Navy personnel, and his father have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He praised and thanked the Prime Minister for his leadership.
Captain Visheshta praised Modi for his unwavering support and tireless efforts during the most challenging times of his life. According to him, he can return home only by the grace of God and the personal intervention of Prime Minister Modi.
You came as hope in difficult times
In the letter he wrote to the Prime Minister, he said that you became a ray of hope in difficult times. He further said that your resolve that no Indian should be left behind resonates in our hearts and you have demonstrated this commitment time and again.
It is worth noting that all eight officials were sentenced to death by Qatar on espionage charges, which were later commuted. However, India’s persistent intervention secured his release in February and he returned home.
Vaishishta said that in solitary confinement in a Qatar prison he hopes that no stone will be left unturned to secure his release, as he has attended major diplomatic events for the prime minister, such as being the state guest of the United States government, chief guest at the Bastille Day parade in France and watching the hosting of the summit of the G20 in India.
Lord Ram also blessed us with liberation
He said, ‘With the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, I felt Lord Ram was also blessing us with liberation. I will always be indebted to you for your unwavering fight for our freedom and for protecting the well-being of our families in our absence.
Saurabh Vasishtha said that whatever the situation, Modi stands firmly for the welfare of every Indian. And Shisha praised Prime Minister Modi for being an example of leadership and empathy. Officials said Captain Vishishtha’s father Wing Commander Rajinder Kumar Vashishtha (retd) also praised and thanked PM Modi for bringing back his son.

86-year-old Rajinder Kumar, praising Prime Minister Modi, said: “During this sad period of 18 months, you have come as our rock, our unbreakable pillar of hope. I am grateful for your efforts to bring my son back from the brink. He also said that in decades His years of life have passed through changing times and eras.I have seen many leaders, but no one has shown such compassion towards our country and its citizens as Prime Minister Modi has shown.
Praising his efforts to rescue people trapped in a tunnel collapse in Uttarakhand last year, he said, ‘Under their leadership, India has blossomed as a ray of hope, reminiscent of Ram Rajya.’
No Indian should be left behind
He said, ‘There is no limit to the extraordinary efforts put in to ensure that no Indian is left behind. During my son’s imprisonment, I often repeated the phrase ‘Modi hi lemukin hi’ and today I tell the world that I am very proud of the truth of these words.’
