A container truck loaded with egg trays suddenly caught fire due to a short circuit on the Meerut Road in Karnal, Haryana. Seeing the fire growing, the driver parked the truck on its side and got out and a major accident was avoided. The police and fire department were informed about the arson.

The employees of the Information Department reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
