The biggest reason not to vote – this won’t solve any problem
Those who did not vote were asked why they did not want to vote. Survey participants could choose any 3 options from a list of 10 options. Definitely, 30% of people chose the option ‘voting doesn’t solve any problem’. While 28% of people believe that all candidates are worthless.
The special thing is that only 20% of people choose the option ‘All parties are worthless’. That means the people of Jharkhand have less problems with the parties and more problems with the candidates. At the same time, 11% people have also said that they do not trust EVMs. Although 27% of people will not be able to vote because they are out of their city at the time of voting.
13% women said – they don’t have a voter card, 20% youth also have the same complaint

54% of those who did not vote said – jobs are being lost in my area.

- The government does not pay attention to my area
Survey participants could choose any of these 3 options. 54% of people definitely chose this option that jobs are ending in their area. While 52% also say that the government does not pay attention to their area.
Among those who did not vote, 57% of the youth said – jobs are ending in their area.
When asked what is the biggest problem in the area of those who did not vote, when the answers were divided in terms of age and gender, it was revealed that 57% of the people in the 18 to 30 age group were troubled. through loss of employment in the area. The biggest problem for 60% of women is the loss of employment. While 61% of young people feel that the government does not pay attention to their area.
Among those who did not vote, 32% were those who had already voted for NOTA.
In the survey, those who expressed their intention not to vote were asked whether they had previously voted for NOTA in any Assembly or Lok Sabha election or not. If you have voted many times – 1 time, 2 times or more than 3 times 69% people said that they have never voted for NOTA. But there are also 32% people who have already voted for NOTA, but now they are not even interested in pressing the NOTA button. Among these, 14% have already pressed the NOTA button more than three times.
75% of youth who did not vote for NOTA never voted
Of the youth who did not vote, 75% never voted for NOTA. 25% have already voted for NOTA and out of these, 8% have pressed the NOTA button more than 3 times. Even among the women who did not vote, 40% were those who voted earlier for NOTA. But this time she is not planning to vote for NOTA either.
