ISIS spokesman Abu Hudhayfah al-Ansari called on ‘lone wolves’ to kill Christians and Jews during the month of Ramadan.

ISIS spokesman, Abu Hudhayfah al-Ansari called on ‘lone wolves’ around the world to kill Christians and Jews en masse during the month of Ramadan. In his chilling new push for terrorism, he declared the holy month of Ramadan as ‘the month of jihad’ and told extremists to launch attacks in the US, Europe and Israel.

In a 41-minute audio recording marking the 10th anniversary of ISIS’ declaration of a caliphate in Iraq and Syria, Abu Hudhayfah al-Ansari urged Muslims to leave their homes and join the jihadists and strengthen them.

He credited Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) for the Moscow concert hall terror attack that killed at least 143 civilians. An ISIS spokesman launched a campaign in January called ‘Kill Them Wherever You Find Them’ in which he asked followers to refocus on terrorist attacks and said the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a war on Jews and is not limited to Israel.

“It is a religious ideological war that will continue until we kill their antichrist under the banner of the Prophet of Allah… tighten the plans and diversify operations: Blow them up with explosives, burn them with firebombs, shoot them with bullets, cut their throats with knives, and run them over with buses,” he said in his audio message.

Following its previous announcement on January 4, the ISIS-K claimed responsibility for a series of terrorist attacks that also included the bombing of Kerman in Iran which killed over 100 people at a memorial service for Qassem Soleimani, one of the top commanders of Iran’s Quds Force. .

ISIS grew weak following prolonged battles with American, Iraqi, and Kurdish forces in 2019 but continues to have great influence in some central and west African nations and in areas adjacent to Afghanistan.

ISIS-K is the strongest threat to emerge from the main group, which has split into several factions and takes its name from an old Persian term for the region, Khorasan, which included parts of Iran , Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, as well as areas of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. His propaganda, translated into regional languages as well as English, promises to establish a caliphate across that area. The other strong group is the Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP) in the Chad basin which includes the nations of Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Nigeria.
