News Bhaskar Raigarh inaugurated the second zone western badminton tournament at NTPC Lara on 25th April. The Western Zone badminton tournament was held in Lara from April 25 to 27. Badminton players from all stations below the second western zone participated in this tournament. At the swearing-in ceremony, Singh vowed to all the players to play in the true spirit of the game. He emphasized the importance of sports for a healthy life. Singh also unveiled the trophy of this tournament along with all the managers and captains of all the participating teams. On April 24, shirts of all the teams were distributed in the presence of the captains of all the teams. It is attended by 66 players from Kurba, Sift, Lara, Gadarwara, Kharguna and Headquarters Zone 2 under West Zone 2. This tournament is played in a total of 4 events including singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team event. On this occasion, Rajeev Ranjan, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance) Ravi Shankar, General Manager (Project), Sangeeta Singh, Zakir Khan, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), Head of Department, President Padosta Mahila Samithi Sangeeta Singh and the committee officials, actors among others and a large number of employees and their families were present.
