Lahore (Web Desk) In the Auditor General’s report, irregularities worth crores of rupees have been revealed in the Punjab Education Department during 2020 and 2021.
According to a private television report, more than 20 million rupees were paid in the name of allowances to the Lahore District Education Authority in violation of the rules, in addition, payments of 7 million rupees were made to assistant education officers for inspection when the term. It was summer vacation.

The auditor general’s report said that teachers and various officials of the education department were paid more than 17 crore rupees as social security against the rules.
The report further said that there were irregularities in payments of more than 14 crore rupees in Nankana district, more than 26 crore rupees in fraud, purchase of goods and other transactions in Kasur district.
Apart from this, the report has identified irregularities of over Rs 39 crore in Okara District Education Authority and over Rs 15 crore in Sheikhupura.
