However, before the start of the game, there is a grand opening ceremony.
This time the first match of IPL will be organized at Chipok Stadium in Chennai. Like every year, BCCI has organized a colorful opening ceremony. The official website of IPL has officially released the artist list. Two Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Sraff will perform. Also present are legendary Oscar Award winning composer AR Rahman and National Award winning singer Sonu Nigam.

When will the opening ceremony of IPL 2024 be held? Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore match starts at 8 PM IST. The throw will be at 7.30 pm. And the opening ceremony performance will start at 6.30.
