News Bhaskar Raigarh Collector and District Election Officer Karthikeya Goyal inspected the booking work of EVM and VVPAT machines happening in KIT College Garhumaria. During this, he observed the commissioning works of EVMs and VVPATs being carried out at the smart counting venue. He directed the officers engaged in the job of booking to carry out every process carefully. While taking stock of the operation of the machines of the Raigarh, Lailunga, Kharsia Railway, he took information about the number of desks in the place. He checked the ballot and the pink paper number pad. Took information on maintenance of the machines that go through the cell. during which instructions were given to speed up the ordering work. As part of the order, the machines are being prepared at the booth level in the final stage ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for the Rajar-02 parliamentary constituency to be held on May 7. Where the symbols of 13 candidates of Raigarh Lok Sabha and NOTA are loaded into the polling unit. Besides, after checking all the machines, sealing work of BU, CU and VVPAT is done after mock poll by giving one vote to each candidate and NOTA in presence of representatives of political parties. After the activation is completed, 5 percent machines will be randomly selected in the presence of candidates/representatives of recognized parties. In which mock poll will be conducted by submitting 1000 votes. Additional Collector Commissioner and Deputy District Election Officer Rajeev Kumar Pandey, Deputy Collector and Nodal Officer Rekha Chandra were present on this occasion.
