Raigar In Kapu Kamdadhudi village of the district, a case of some people killing farmers’ cattle in the nearby forest and eating the meat came to light. In this regard, the police stated that information was received from the informant that on the night of April 24, around 12:00 to 1:00 a.m., the village of Marshall Kojur (32), Nona Kojur (35), Jersel Kojur (20), Santosh Khas (26), Bablu Kojur (22), Karthik Akka (22), Santram Min (32) all killed Nona Kojur’s cattle. In this regard, on the written request of the applicant Bhuneshwar Yadav, a resident of village Kamdadhodhi, action was taken against the accused under sections 4,5,10,11 of the Chhattisgarh Agricultural Animal Preservation Act 2004 and section 11 of the Cruelty to Animals Act 2004. All the seven accused were arrested and sent to extend detention.
