Hazaribagh An awareness program was organized on the National Day of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Hazaribagh College of Dental Sciences and Hospital on Wednesday. In the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, elderly people were brought in from nearby old age homes with respect. This time, the doctors gave the elderly an oral examination and advised them to give up drunkenness and bad habits and maintain good health to avoid many deadly diseases including cancer. During this, a dental pack was provided as a symbol of happiness and gratitude by the Dental College family. On the occasion, Dr Praveen Srinivas, Secretary Hazaribagh College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, said that one gets inner happiness by spreading happiness and making them aware among the elderly. Since childhood, I have been very fond of elderly people. Under a special initiative on the National Day of Oral Medicine and Radiology, health awareness was created among the elderly. Through awareness programmes, the elderly were encouraged to give up drunkenness and bad habits in order to avoid serious diseases. Mainly present on the occasion was Dr. K. Srikrishna, Head of the OMR Department and Dr. D. Nandi, Professor OMR Department.
