Indore News: Naiduniya Representative, Indore. During the first two weeks of April, the Municipal Corporation will start the campaign to install a rainwater collection system. It will be mandatory to install this system on plots larger than one and a half thousand square feet. In the campaign, the responsibility is entrusted to Area Officer, Additional Commissioner, Superintending Engineer and in charge of various departments of the Municipal Corporation. Targets are set for each. In order to improve the ground water level, the Municipal Corporation is also going to build more than a thousand large ponds.
Mandatory installation of this system will also be implemented for plots with an area of ​​one and a half thousand square feet or more. Last year also the Municipal Corporation had launched a campaign to install the system but could not get the expected success.
Pools will be built in waterlogged areas
The campaign to install a rainwater collection system will start very soon. We plan it. There is a need to save the ground water level which is continuously falling in the city. The campaign will help in this regard.
