Indian Navy | Indian Navy rescues 23 Pak sailors in action against Somali pirates Achi-News

North Bengal News Digital Desk: The great success of the Indian Navy in operations against pirates in Somalia (Indian Navy). They rescued 23 Pak sailors. The incident happened on Thursday afternoon 90 nautical miles south-west of Socotra Let in the Sea Arabia.

Indian Navy rescues Iranian-flagged fishing boat ‘Al-Kamber 786’. According to the Navy, there were 23 Pakistani nationals in that boat. They are kept by pirates (pirate attack). The Indian Navy warship ‘INS Sumedha’ quickly arrived there after getting the news that the pirates have looted the trawler again. Warship ‘INS Trishul’ also arrived. Then the battle began. The navy’s marine commandos began operations against pirates. Success was achieved after about 12 hours of operation. All are safe, the Navy said.

By the way, pirates in Somalia mainly hijack ships for ransom. At times, their nuisance has lessened somewhat, but in a few months, their activity has been noticed again.
