In the Islamabad court, the case of five suspects involved in the terrorist attack was dismissed
The District Court of the Federal Capital Territory on Tuesday acquitted five suspects involved in the deadly attack on the Islamabad court eight years ago.
Prosecutors alleged that the suspects played a facilitating role. However, due to poor investigation by the police, the accused were acquitted.
The accused are Jan Mohammed, Abdul Ghaffar, Qamar Zaman, Bismillah Jan and Hazem.
In the year On March 23, 2014, 13 people, including an Additional Sessions Judge, were killed and at least 35 injured in a blast at the F8 District Court in Islamabad.
In addition, the dead and injured were taken to Pims Hospital, including lawyers and ordinary people.
According to eyewitnesses, the firing started after two explosions in the district court and continued for half an hour, resulting in many people being injured in the riot.
A case of the incident was registered by SHO Khalid Awan at Margalla police station.
