Former Haryana CMs Bhajan Lal and Bansilal.

This will be the first Lok Sabha election after 34 years in which no member of Bansi Lal’s family will contest. After 26 years, Bhajan Lal’s family is also out of the election field. Not only this, after 15 years there is no one from the Bhajan family on the Hisar seat. Interestingly, there will be three candidates from the Chaudhary Devi Lal family in the fray from the Hisar seat, that too from different parties.

Bhajan Lal won the Lok Sabha elections from Faridabad for the first time in 1989.
