Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Cricket Board has started an investigation to see if Usman Khan’s decision to show his intention to play for Pakistan is against the agreement signed with the United Arab Emirates Cricket Board.

Sources said that the final decision regarding the deal will be taken in the next two weeks, if the offense is proven, Usman Khan could face a ban related to playing league cricket in the United Arab Emirates.
If a breach of contract is found during the review, it will also affect their work permit as a player.
Usman Khan believes he has not breached any agreement, his contract contains an exit clause with a 30 day notice period.
