On Wednesday morning, Chatar Singh (80) of Chamaria village was murdered by his own younger son Satyavan by hitting him with a cob in Chamaria village for demanding a share in the land. In front of the mother, the son first hit her on the head with a stick and then hit her several times on the head and face with a wooden stick. Because of this the old man died on the spot.

After the murder, the son dragged her body out of the house and brought it to the road.
