Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav

Chhindwara is considered a stronghold of the Congress. Since independence, the Congress has only lost the election from here once. Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath has represented this seat nine times in the Lok Sabha. Despite this, the Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Mohan Yadav has given a big statement regarding Chhindwara. He said that Chhindwara is no longer a Congress stronghold.

Addressing a meeting on Wednesday, CM Yadav said that Chhindwara is no longer a Congress stronghold. Everything is wrong here. The people here have decided to end the supremacy of the Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha. Public sentiment is now in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP. We will develop Chhindwara as an ideal Lok Sabha constituency.

There is no one left from the Congress camp here

Let us tell you that CM Mohan Yadav said this while addressing a meeting after filing the nomination of BJP candidate Vivek Bunty Sahu. CM Yadav further said that Kamal Nath called himself a devotee of Lord Hanuman, but when he was the Chief Minister of the state, he failed to develop the Hanuman temple at Jamsanwali. BJP government developed this temple. CM said that there was no one left from the Congress camp here. Nakul Nath was going to lose, but he could only win by 37 thousand votes. This difference is nothing.

Only Chhindwara seat in Congress count in 2019

Let us tell you that in 2019, Nakul Nath defeated BJP’s Natthan Shah from Chhindwara by 37 thousand votes, but in 2014, Kamal Nath had won from here by at least 1.16 lakh votes. During the 2019 elections, only the Chhindwara seat went to the Congress in the state. BJP had won 28 out of 29 seats in the state.
