Bhopal News: Lease renewal case stuck again due to elections, more than 500 families upset Achi-News

The leasing period for the plots allocated to around 500 families in the One Tree Hills area has come to an end. These plots were allocated through housing associations. The district administration had given orders to renew the lease on condition of depositing the remaining amount on the associations.

Recently, Sindhu Samaj and Navyuvak Grih Nirman Sanstha deposited the remaining amount. Citizens also applied for renovations at the facilities centre, but one resident’s application was not resolved. The leasing period of the plots allocated to these families from the area has ended.

Now they are not even able to get a loan from the bank. The rules were simplified during the tenure of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. It was hoped that the request would be resolved as soon as the new government is formed after the assembly elections, but now the matter is stuck again.

Applications were taken at the camp

About a year ago, the administration organized camps under the Presumption Rights Order and took applications from people, but in most cases no survey was conducted and no leases were accepted. According to the Vice President of Sindhu Samaj, Harish Meharchandani, the district administration had ensured the resolution of all the requests.
