ASI Survey at Bhojshala: Rep. Naidunia, Dhar. Seven days have passed since the survey of the historic Bhojshala of Dhar. Now two new experts have also joined the survey with modern equipment. On Thursday, a survey of the upper surface of the banquet hall roof was carried out with the help of these tools. The survey team also recorded whatever heritage was within 50 meters of the Bhojshala. Along with this, the survey of the floor of the inner part of the banquet hall has also been completed. In the next few days, the Archaeological Survey of India team may also dig in some places in the interior areas.

At present deep excavation has been done in three places. Through this, the process of ascertaining the antiquity of the Bhojshala is also done by examining the foundation. The team also do different types of sampling before the carbon dating process. The samples obtained from here will be sent to the laboratory for testing. This will calculate the age of the banquet hall. There are stones in the Bhojshala complex, they are of red sandstone category. The survey will also start at 6 am on Friday, March 29. While Namaz will be held in the banquet hall from 1 to 3 pm.

It is worth noting that on the orders of the Indore High Court bench, the Archaeological Survey of India team at Bhojshala is conducting a survey from March 29. Two new members of the team joined on the seventh day of the survey on Thursday. Both of them are experts and have arrived on campus with special equipment. He has inspected the roof and floor of the banquet hall. The external grounds of the banquet hall have also been measured. Petitioners Ashish Goyal and Gopal Sharma from the Hindu side and Abdul Samad from the Muslim side were also present with the team.

Close inspection within a 50 meter radius in the outdoor area

-The High Court has asked to conduct a survey of the 50 meter radius of the Bhojshala. The ASI team worked for about three hours in this border area on Thursday. The team members record even the smallest information about the houses that have been built or any heritage sites located in the surrounding area. Documentation was also made about stepping wells etc. that were present at the site.

We will reveal the mystery of Bhojshala – Muslim side

-Abdul Samad from the Muslim side said on Thursday morning that Bhojshala is a mystery. Where was Raja Bhoj’s fort? Where was the banquet hall? This is unclear. It must be found. We also want it to be found. We will also disclose this.

Idol of Lord Vishnu restored from Bhojshala in Mandu

Here, on the statement of the Muslim side, Gopal Sharma of the Hindu organization has said that the Archaeological Survey of India is doing its job. Desirable results will certainly come in the next few days. He said that Akal Kui is near Bhojshala, where during the excavation done years ago, a big stone idol of Lord Vishnu, weighing 10 tons, was found. It is currently kept in the museum located at Taveli Mahal in the Jahaz Mahal complex in Mandu.

This in itself is a great proof that Bhojshala is a temple. A statue is still kept near the old scout training centre. This also comes within a 50 meter radius of the Bhojshala building. He said that Dhar was once an important place of the Nath sect. There used to be more than 437 Nath sect mausoleums here.

This is Kamal Nath Maharaj’s place where Shivling was also there. All these evidences show that it must be a temple. This truth will come out soon. Even after plowing the surrounding fields, only idols were found. So all the evidence is in our favour. Anyway, Kamal Maula’s tomb is in Ahmedabad.
