The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet has approved giving Eid packages to deserving people in the province.
A provincial cabinet meeting was held in Peshawar under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The cabinet meeting approved the plan for providing modern vehicles and equipment to the police in the combined areas.
Officials said that modern vehicles and equipment will be purchased for the police at a cost of Rs 7.67 billion.
According to officials, 10,000 deserving people will get Rs.10,000 in each constituency.
Government officials said that the Ramadan package in the province will cost 1.15 billion rupees.
In the cabinet meeting, it was also approved to give an Eid package of Rs.10,10,000 to the families of 2,050 police martyrs.
The Cabinet formed a committee on the issue of conducting screening tests through private testing agencies.
According to the officers, this committee will present the final recommendations in 15 days.
