Adani Green Energy has started operation of 775 MW solar power projects in Khavra, Gujarat. Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) said in the information given to the stock market on Friday that the implementation of the projects has started after obtaining the relevant approvals.
According to the statement, Adani Green Energy, through its various wholly-owned subsidiaries, has started implementing projects with a total capacity of 775 MW in Khavra, Gujarat. The company said that power generation from this project will start from March 29.
The world’s largest green energy park
Let us tell you that Adani Group is building the world’s largest green energy park in the desert region of Gujarat. The Green Energy Park will be spread over 726 sq km in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. This park will generate 30 GW of electricity to power more than 2 crore houses. Gautam Adani himself has shared pictures of the work going on in the park on his X handle. This project of Adani Group is expected to increase India’s green energy capacity, apart from this it will also help achieve’ the climate promises made at COP.
